More Rain/Colours In A Jar

My children loved the rain in the jar activity we did the other week and the follow up one with colours. Well today they asked to do it again, actually they asked me to make it rain inside, it took a few questions for me to click what they were after! Decided to use my glass vase and I think it worked better, having the straight sides, you didn't get the distortion that the jar had. They have also learnt that it is better to patient, to squirt some food colouring and then wait and watch and see the colour drops emerge. A very relaxing activity, that they repeated more than once today.
